years wmA Experience-- Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs in COBOL and JAVA- Development of modifications to Annuities, Universal Life, Traditional Life Products, etc - on Vantage or wmA product -- Be able to construct a Technical Specification.
- Can do unit/system testing of modified code to verify the results are what is needed.
- Be able to problem solve a defect or ABEND using File Analyst, Debug, or Expediter.
- Detail knowledge of functionality of target administration system - experience making modifications and changes to base system considered SME- Exposure to Commissions/Agency-- Understanding of business processes -- Analytical skills and capability to generating ideas or solutions for problems.
- Understanding key processing in Life &Annuity environment - billing, premium processing, correspondence, accounting, disbursements, commissions, claims, reserves, reinsurance, and new business.
- Good written and oral communication skills (in English)- Be able to give progress of their tasks in a timely manner.
- Be able to manage their time.
- Ability to work as part of team and independently- Ability to work with global team.
- Ability to directly interact with client internal and external-- Self-starter, agile, and quick.
Not afraid to ask for help.
- Ability to work in high paced, dynamic environment required.
